Introduction
Claritee is a decision intelligence app that helps users make structured, weighted decisions. This policy
explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and your rights.
What Data We Collect
a) Account Data
Email address, name (via Supabase authentication).
b) Decision Data
Decision questions, options, pros, cons, and weights that users enter inside the app.
c) Payment Data
Transaction records, credit purchase history. Raw card details are never stored — handled entirely by Dodo
Payments.
d) Usage & Session Data
On clariteeai.me (main domain only), we use Microsoft Clarity for session recording and heatmaps to
understand how users interact with the landing page. This does NOT apply to any subdomains or the app itself.
Why We Collect It
- Account data: to authenticate users and identify their saved decisions.
- Decision data: to deliver the core product — saving, scoring, and displaying decisions.
- Payment data: to process credit purchases and maintain transaction records.
- Session data (Microsoft Clarity): to improve the landing page experience.

Decision content sent to the Gemini API is used to generate AI responses. Please review Google's API Terms
of Service for details on how API data is handled.
Data Retention
- User data is retained for 2 years.
- After 2 years, decision data is automatically deleted.
- Account data is deleted when you delete your account.
- Payment records may be retained longer where required by law.
Your Rights
- Access your data.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Export your decision history.
- Opt out of session recording (by not using clariteeai.me — the main domain).
- GDPR users: right to rectification, restriction of processing, and data portability.

Security
- All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Authentication is handled by Supabase with industry-standard security.
- We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
Children
This app is not directed at users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a
child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of
Clarity after changes constitutes acceptance.
